We built this because loadout slots shouldn’t be a paywall. In most online games, you grind for weeks or swipe to expand your presets. Here, you just bring someone in. One match on their end, one permanent slot on yours.
Your friend gets the same reward. They play one match, they unlock their own slot too. Every referral is a two-way unlock.
The system tracks each friend’s first match. If they already played before you shared your link, no slot, so share it early. But once it’s set, the slot is yours. No timer, no condition to re-earn it.
This is part of how The Agency stays free. We don’t sell slots. You earn them by building the community. The more people you bring, the more room you have to experiment with guns, perks, and gear.
Why loadout slots matter more than you think
A loadout slot is a saved setup of weapons, gadgets, and abilities. In The Agency, you swap between modes like the 24-mission Campaign, RUSH wave survival, or DOMINION RTS. Each mode needs a different approach. With one slot, you’d rebuild your kit every time you switch. That takes minutes and breaks momentum.
More slots mean you keep a loadout for every mode ready to go. You keep a stealth loadout for campaign missions, a heavy loadout for RUSH, and a balanced setup for DOMINION. Flip between them in seconds. No re-equipping, no forgetting a key item.
As you unlock slots through referrals, you can also create niche versions. Maybe one slot is for the gun you’re mastering, another for your competitive try-hard setup, and a third for meme weapons. The freedom is yours, not locked behind a store.
We’ve seen players with six slots design completely different playstyles for each. One slot is all shotguns and grenades. Another is snipers and motion sensors. That variety makes each session feel fresh. You experiment more because you don’t lose a saved setup.
Slots also grow with you. When the community votes in a new weapon or gadget, you want a slot ready to test it. Without extra slots, you overwrite something you like. With referrals, you just add a new slot and keep everything.
How to put it together and keep unlocking
Copy your referral link from your account page inside The Agency. Share it in a Discord server, a group chat, or social media. When someone clicks it, they land in the browser game, no install needed. They create a free account and play one match.
That match can be any mode: Campaign, RUSH, DOMINION, or even Classic (the original 2020 version). They don’t need to win. They just need to complete a match. Once they do, the slot unlocks on your account immediately. You’ll see a notification in the lobby.
There is no limit on how many slots you can earn. Each new player who joins through your link and plays a match adds one more slot to your account. Want ten slots? Bring ten friends. Want twenty? Get twenty. The cap is only your reach.
Your referred friend also gets their own slot permanently. So they get started with a spare slot from day one. That means they can already experiment with two versions before they refer anyone. It’s a fast start in a game that rewards variety.
We also track your total referrals on your account. It’s not a leaderboard, no pressure. It’s just a number that shows how many people you helped discover the game. Some players use it as a friendly competition within their group. Bragging rights come free with every slot.
